CHAINED

Though i want to do a lot through my blog, mostly i want to create awareness regarding mental health and other social issues that need to be discussed a lot.

 Depression is a chain to your soul, that limits your mental and physical well being to a very small circle that could lead to a lot of harm.

 I just want to say that always take pride in your sadness, in your sufferings, in your brave self because "YOU MATTER" to yourself and to a lot of people who love you for you.

 I hope you guys like the following poem.



My medals taken away,
all the glory of my guiltless childhood,
now just weeps and shatters with no sound.

Hundred of pointed steel structures,
pass through me,
through the smiles, through the warmth and all the whites,
left behind punctured and in ache of life.

The seven day phenomenon isn't rainbow anymore,
just a weak week one after the other one upping the before,
days full of shame, nights full of guilt.

Unfurled black threads hanging from my brain,
moist eyes getting moister with each new pain,
I am not lost in this darkness,
Just cornered and confined by a beautiful black chain.

There are some sleepless nights in all our lives. The quietness of the night doesn't let you sleep. You keep turning in you bed till you get tired. With the following poem I have written about one such night, sleepless and peaceful. Its dead quiet outside, Only the whispers of the chilling wind, The streets filled with light yet so empty, Eyes wet, reliving all the regrets.
