UNSEEN

Mental health is one of the issues that can never be discussed enough. through this poem i really wanted to capture the dilemma and aches of having social anxiety.

Social anxiety really takes a heavy toll on person. even the way i wrote with words falling one after another, is all to capture that tensed feel. I hope that i am able to convey the message in a proper way.

Four walls, thirty-three people,
exchanging words, smiles and lies,
loud chatters and an unheard voice.

My heart sweats, and forehead pounds,
the words don't make sense,
body warms up, brain freezes.

Afraid and tensed,
an eye might catch me,
a mouth might talk to me,
a word will break me.

Salty liquid starts to roll,
heavy eyes looking at the door,
caught in the crowd,
i want to be alone.
